Undersea Aviary was a collaboration with landscape designer and scultptor, Michael Henderson at a West Seattle residence.
Taking over a backyard, Michael has created a multi-level structure with rebar and plaster, plants, tiling and to this I added worked mesh to add a billowing presence.

The piece has multiple entrances so one could ascend up and into the piece and ascend to an upper level landscaped with plants, mosaics and water features.

The space feels spacious, yet contained.
