“Glen and Now”
was an outdoor installation that was part of a three day 2014 Lo-Fi// Ad hoc Festival in Arlington, WA.
The piece was interactive, allowing the public a chance to wander throughout its structure and inspired both a dance troupe performance (Kristin Hapke & Tindance) within it and an operatic performance (Janna Wachter’s, Point & Shoot Singer) through it, during the weekend. The feeling and color of the piece shifted as the light of the day changed.

Depending on the time of day, the light and shadows shifted

in some sections one could walk between segments and be enveloped within sections

In other sections one could pass through arches created by upswells.

Glen and Now was a large piece measuring 100 feet long, up to 15 feet tall in spots and 25 feet deep.
