“Accreted Mesh” was part of Accreted Terrane - a group show at The Museum of NW Art, in La Conner, WA. This was an example of a smaller piece, installed at human level, which to me feels relational. One could walk up to, under and walk around it.
It managed to feel animated even with the relative flat fluorescent lighting conditions.
Piece was built so one could enter into, walk around and lie under the piece
Depending on where one was, there were shadows. An element that can be greatly expanded on in different locations and lighting - both natural and manmade
